The 3.0-liter S55B30 turbo engine of your BMW M2 Competition is equipped with an advanced indirect charge air cooling circuit. In contrast to the conventional cooling process with ambient air as the cooling medium, a separate cooling water circuit is used here. The reduction in cooling water temperature is therefore directly linked to improved charge air cooling performance. The newly developed competition racing nets of the Wagner Tuning high-performance water cooler increase the radiator volume of the standard water cooler by an impressive 89% at the front and 94% at the sides. The innovative ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer and at the same time allows sufficient airflow for adjacent components such as the engine water cooler. In addition, the increased cooling water volume means that the entire system thermal can be kept at a lower level over a longer period of time.
Every Wagner Tuning water cooler is equipped with a thermally conductive anti-corrosion coating that ensures a long-lasting cooling effect. The installation of the system is uncomplicated and almost plug & play thanks to our detailed installation instructions.
