The high-performance intercooler impresses with its high-quality Competition high-performance intercooler core with internal turbulators. With dimensions of 610 mm x 440 mm x 65 mm and a core volume of 17,446 liters, it offers a 178% larger incident flow area and 158% more charge air volume compared to the standard intercooler. Despite its size, this intercooler impressed with a weight of just 9.1 kg. The cast aluminum end boxes were developed using state-of-the-art CAD technology and optimized using CFD simulations to ensure ideal internal airflow. An innovative integrated air guide in the end box ensures even filling of the Competition high-performance core. With an enlarged connection diameter of 67 mm and reinforced silicone hoses, this kit impresses with minimal back pressure compared to the standard charge air cooler.
The high-performance charge air cooler is equipped with a high-quality anti-corrosion coating that provides excellent heat conduction properties. This ensures permanent and optimal cooling, resulting in a significant increase in performance. Installation of the complete ready-to-install kit is simple and is accomplished by replacing the stock intercooler.
